Iftar for 400 people was given in the village of Lyulyakovo, Burgas region

400 Muslims gathered at the Ramadan iftar-dinner in the village of Lyulyakovo (Municipality of Ruen) on May 23 (Thursday) this year. Main sponsor of the iftar was the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce and the event was organized by Regional Mufti’s Office – Aytos. 

Official guests of the festive dinner were the Vice-Consul from Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey to Burgas Cumhur Akgün and the Social affairs attaché at the Consulate Şemsettin Şimşek. There also participated the Regional Mufti of Aytos Selyatin Muharrem and the representatives of his team from Regional Mufti’s Office in Aytos.

The host Muharrem welcomed all guests and thanked them for responding to the invitation. He expressed his gratitude also to the sponsor of the Ramadan dinner – the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, for the good deed.

The Social affairs attaché at the Consulate of Turkey in Burgas Semsettin Simsek also delivered a greeting address to the hundreds of Muslims, who gathered at the general Ramadan dinner in Lyulyakovo. He greeted them on the occasion of the month of Ramadan and wished them happy celebration of the upcoming Eid al-Fitr which will begin on June 4, this year.
