Mufti’s Office in the capital held a meeting with imams and chairmen of boards of trustees

On February 3, 2019 Regional Mufti’s Office – Sofia held its first for this year regular meeting with the imams and the chairmen of the Muslim boards of trustees from its region.

The meeting took place at “Noor” Club at the Muslim Denomination in “Studentski grad”, and an official guest was the Deputy Grand Mufti Ahmed Hasanov. The event included an analysis of the “Orphans’ Week” campaign, the subscription campaign for “Muslims” magazine for 2019 and the weekly lectures, organized at the masjeds in the region. A special attention was paid to the adopted amendments in the Law on the Religious Denominations.

The Deputy Grand Mufti Ahmed Hasanov reminded the participants that everyone has to show seriousness, devotion and sincerity in his work. He also focused on the importance of the teamwork and the collective work.

The meeting ended with a dua (supplication) for welfare and success in the affairs.
