The Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi received the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey Prof. Dr. Emrullah İşler. He was on a visit in our country on 12th of July this year. Earlier in the day the Turkish guest met also with the Deputy Prime Minister Zinaida Zlatanova.
The Grand Mufti presented the activity of the Grand Mufti’s Office and pointed out some of the problems which the institution, respectively the Muslim community in the country, faces. Despite the efforts on behalf of the Muslim Denomination the problem with the construction of the Islamic cultural and educational center in Sofia is not solved yet.
The Deputy Prime Minister of our southern neighbor country shared that they solved the problems with the property of the different denominations by a law, which could also serve as an example for the Bulgarian country.
