The Regional Mufti’s Offices of Blagoevgrad and Pazardzhik began the year with a joint meeting of their regional Muslim councils

The already traditional joint meeting of the regional Muslim councils (RMC) at Regional Mufti’s Office – Blagoevgrad and Regional Mufti’s Office – Pazardzhik was held on January 10 (Thursday), 2019.

The working meeting took place at Delta Hotel in the village of Ognyanovo (Municipality of Garmen). It was attended by members of RMC – Blagoevgrad and RMC – Pazardzhik, as well as the staff at the two regional mufti’s offices. Official guest of the joint working meeting was the Grand Mufti of the Muslims in the Republic of Bulgaria Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi.

“The agenda of the working meeting included review and discussion of current situation of the imams and the Muslim boards of trustees in the two regional mufti’s offices, as well as the schedule for their work during 2019. We also discussed the adopted at first reading amendments to the Law on the Religious Denominations and the moments deriving from them concerning the Muslim community in Bulgaria and the entire institution of the Muslim Denomination.” – the Regional Mufti of Blagoevgrad Aydan Mohamed said for Grandmufri.bg after the event.
