Students from Religious School – Momchilgrad made a donation for orphans

Students from Religious School – Momchilgrad took an active part in the National Donation Campaign for raising funds for “Orphans” Fund, organized by Grand Mufti’s Office.

A group of students together with the Director and the Deputy Director of the school visited the Regional Mufti of Kardzhali Beyhan Mehmed after the Friday prayer on December 7, 2018, and gave the amount of 1016.80 BGN.

The Regional Mufti cordially thanked the students and the management of RS Momchilgrad for the empathy and the grace towards the children without parents.

The charity campaign of Grand Mufti’s Office, known as “Orphans’ Week” takes place every year. In many of the mosques in Kardzhali region are organized stands after the Friday prayer to help orphans. Thanks to this campaign 298 children in total from the entire country are assisted every month, and 21 of them are from the region of Kardzhali.
