Regional Mufti’s Office – Ruse held a working meeting with imams from the region

On November 27, 2018 in the mosque “Hadzhi Mehmed” in the city of Ruse took place a working meeting with the imams from the local regional mufti’s office.

The meeting began with reading verses from the Qur’an-i Kerim by Ibazer Ibazerov, imam of the city of Ruse. The meeting continued with a short lecture by Ilhan Hasan, imam of the town of Vetovo – “One verse- one hadith (narration)”.

Then the Regional Mufti continued with the following agenda:

First of all, on the agenda of the working meeting was the upcoming campaign “Orphans’ Week”, for which posters, postcards, cash-boxes and magnets were given to all participating imams

Secondly, the preparation for the subscription campaign for “Muslims” magazine for 2019, report on the work of the Muslim boards of trustees and also draft budget for 2019 were discussed. The imams were given the Muslim calendars for 2019 as every year they are disseminated in the relevant settlements.

There was also discussed the organization and the preparation for winter religious talks in the mosques and the masjids in the region of Ruse.

At the end the meeting was closed with a dua (supplication) for health and prosperity, made by the guest-imam Abdullah Dursun.
