Regional Mufti’s Office – Haskovo convened the imams at a regular working meeting

On October 16 this year (Tuesday) in the renovated “Eski mosque” in the town of Haskovo took place a regular working meeting with the imams from the region.

The Regional Mufti of Haskovo Basri Eminefendi welcomed all participants and informed them about the agenda of the meeting. Within the meeting an analysis of the held summer Qur’an courses and the ongoing year-round Qur’an courses – several in the different quarters of the town and others in the surrounding villages was made.

Among the topics on the agenda of the working meeting were also holding the upcoming during November campaign “Orphans’ Week”, and the imams discussed also the held campaigns for Hajj, for supporting the Islamic education and “Let’s share our qurban”.

There was also addressed the topic for recruitment of candidates for the new school year in the Training School for Imams – Ustina and searching for appropriate people from the region of Haskovo.

Of course, the participants discussed as priority the ongoing at the moment initiative at a national level “Week of Mosques” and focused on the events in the region of Haskovo.

“We have prepared program for the implementation of the initiative Haskovo and the region” – the Regional Mufti Basri Eminefendi shared for Grandmufti.bg – “Week of Mosques” in Haskovo will be held with open days in the Muslim temples, there are also organized sermons on the topic about the role and the importance of the mosque for the Muslims. Furthermore talks and meetings with the congregation in the different settlements in Haskovo region will be held”. – the Regional Mufti of Haskovo added.

The October working meeting of Regional Mufti’s Office – Haskovo was closed after completing the agenda with a dua (supplication) to the Almighty.
