Regional Mufti’s Office – Plovdiv held a regular October meeting with imams

Regional Mufti’s Office – Plovdiv held its regular monthly meeting with imams on October 10, (Wednesday), 2018. It took place at the administrative office of the mufti’s office in Plovdiv.

The participants in the working meeting were welcomed by the Regional Mufti of Plovdiv Taner Veli. He informed them about the agenda of the meeting which included a variety of topics.

The imams made a revision of the summer Qur’an courses for children which were held during the months of July and August on the territory of the mufti’s office in Plovdiv. Among the discussed topics was also the held earlier on, during the month of Ramadan this year, Campaign in support of the Islamic Education of Grand Mufti’s Office. The imams also discussed the organization and carrying out some upcoming events – sohbets (religious talks) in the mosques, which every year are organized during the winter season by Regional Mufti’s Office – Plovdiv, and the celebration of the Sacred birth of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

The working meeting for October of the imams from Regional Mufti’s Office – Plovdiv ended with a dua (supplication) and mutual wishes for prosperity and fruitful work.
