Turkish journalists visited Dzhumaya Mosque

In the framework of the implementation of the European project “Adaptation of the Turkish regional media to the requirements of the EU” a delegation of 45 members from the cities Mudanya and Bursa in Turkey led by the Chairman of the Journalists Association in Mudanya Yavuz Gerçekçi visited Regional Mufti’s Office – Plovdiv. Beside journalists public figures were involved in it as well. The delegation met with the Regional Mufti Ersin Ahmed and the chairman of the mosque’s board of trustees Ahmed Pehlivan. The Regional Mufti Mr. Ahmed presented to the guests the activities of the Muslim Denomination in the Republic of Bulgaria and in particular with the activity of Regional Mufti’s Office – Plovdiv. The guests were told about the history of Murad Hüdavendigâr Mosque and also received as a gift a copy of “Muslims” magazine.
