Children from the Qur’ancourse visited Sofia History Museum

Children from the Sofia Qur’an course visited Sofia History Museum, which is situated in the historic building of the Sofia Public Mineral Baths in the center of the capital.

The children werekindly and warmly welcomed by the professional guides of the museumand received the opportunity to enjoy the wide halls full of enigmatic antiquеs.

Some of the little Muslims showed great interest in the gold-plated carriage – a wedding gift for His Majesty King Ferdinand from the French queen Marie Antoinette. Other childrengot the opportunity to get on the tram car, which once had run along the streets of Sofia, as well as they had the chance to take pictures of the oldest car in Bulgaria - "Mercedes" (1905).

Such kind of visits are made as a part of the weekly program of the summer Qur’an course in Sofia.
