Attempted revenge desecrated the mosque in Dobrich
The mosque “Hadzhi Osman” in the city centre of Dobrich was desecrated on 12th of January, 2015. The believers noticed the criminal act yesterday at noon. On the outer wall of the temple is painted white cross with dimensions of 2m x 1.5 m.
Grand Mufti’s Office strongly condemns such acts, the purpose of which is to provoke Muslims aiming in this way at inciting interfaith enmity in the society. We call on the civil society not to give way to the provocation and to adhere to respecting the public order and peace.
Such acts are recidivism in the country. The last similar desecration towards a Muslim temple was to the mosque “Karadzha Pasha” in Gotse Delchev in June, 2014.
