Imams from the region of Shumen met for a working meeting

Regional Mufti’s Office – Shumen held a working meeting with the imams from the region on June 5, 2018. The meeting was held in the conference room of Regional Mufti’s Office – Shumen.

During the meeting were addressed several topics, such as the preparation for Eid al-Fitr, the campaign , organized by Grand Mufti’s Office of the Muslims in the Republic of Bulgaria ,in support of the Islamic Education, the organization of the summer Qur’an courses. All imams received khutbas (sermons), lectures and greeting addresses, prepared by Regional Mufti’s Office – Shumen.

 Guests of the meeting were the Deputy Grand Mufti of the Muslims in the Republic of Bulgaria – Birali Birali and the chairman of the Supreme Muslim Council Vedat Ahmed.

The same day the Chairman of the Supreme Muslim Council together with the Regional Mufti of Shumen Mesut Mehmedov were guests at iftar dinner in the village of Branichevo, in which participated more than 1000 people. Then they visited also the Muslims in the village of Zagoriche.
