Iftar for the candidates for pilgrimage of Hajj from Istanbul

About 50 candidates to perform the pilgrimage of Hajj, who will visit the holy places this year with the organization of the Grand Mufti’s Office, gathered at iftar dinner in the Municipality of Avcılar, Istanbul.

Official guests of the program, organized by the representative of “Hajj and Umrah” Department of Grand Mufti’s Office in Istanbul – Yusuf Nizamoglu, were the Chairman of the Supreme Muslim Council Vedat S. Ahmed, the Deputy Grand Mufti Ahmed Hasanov and the Regional Mufti of Kardzhali Beyhan Mehmed.

The Deputy Grand Mufti Ahmed Hasanov, who is directly responsible for “Hajj and Umrah” Department, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet in the days of the Holy Month of Ramadan at iftar dinner with the candidates to perform pilgrimage of Hajj and added: “It is foreseen such iftar dinners to be held also with the candidates to perform pilgrimage of Hajj from Izmir and Bursa.”

The SMC Chairman Vedat S. Ahmed gave a detailed presentation on the activities and the services of Grand Mufti’s Office.

The iftar dinner ended with a prayer and a closing speech on behalf of the Regional Mufti of Kardzhali Beyhan Mehmed.
