Honors for the mufti’s offices with greatest contribution during Orphans’ Week 2017

         During the second for 2018 meeting of the Supreme Muslim Council five regional mufti’s offices from the country received letters of gratitude for the shown by them activity during the social campaign of Grand Mufti’s Office Orphans’ Week 2017. These were Regional Mufti’s Office – Blagoevgrad (raised 40 522.04 leva), Regional Mufti’s Office – Sofia (30 001.50 leva), Regional Mufti’s Office – Pazardzhik (23 102.91 leva), Regional Mufti’s Office – Smolyan (19 464.75 leva) and Regional Mufti’s Office – Aytos (19 000 leva). There were also honored more than 50 Muslim boards of trustees (MBT) for their contribution in the campaign, where MBT – Chepintsi and MBT – Velingrad had raised the largest amounts of donations. The religious schools in Shumen and Momchilgrad also received letters of gratitude for their activity and contribution.

The honors were given on behalf of the Muslim Denomination by the Grand Mufti of the Muslims Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi and the SMC Chairman Vedat Ahmed.
