Obituary notice: The imam for a long time of the village of Shtraklevo Ibrahim Karakashev passed away

After a short illness on February 16, 20118 passed away Ibrahim Yusmenov Karakashev – imam for a long time of the village of Shtraklevo, Municipality of Ivanovo, Ruse region.

Ibrahim hodzha was born on January 1, 1940 in the village of Shtraklevo. He received his primary education in his native village after which in the period 1955 – 1958 he studied in the town of Razgrad - "Türk Pedagojı Okulu".

After his graduation he was working as a primary teacher in Razgrad Region. During the communist regime e worked in the factory for socks “Fazan”.

After 1989 e became a teacher in Turksih language in his native village. Since his retirement to his last day he was an imam in the mosque in his native Shtraklevo.

Ibrahim Karakash, as he was known among the people, was extremely active in all events and activities of Regional Mufti’s Office – Ruse. Due to his pedagogical education his teaching activity in the Qur’an courses had a great success.

We ask Allah to give them patience for the loss and may the Almighty Allah accept the good deeds of the late and give him the highest honors in His Jannah (Paradise)!
