Mufti’s Office in Sofia held a meeting with imams

On February 13, 2018 the Regional Mufti’s Office – Sofia held the first for the present year regular meeting with the imams at the mufti’s office. The event was also attended by Mr. Dzhemal Hatip – expert at “Publishing” Department at Grand Mufti’s Office. The participants analyzed the past campaign “Orphans’ Week” in which the Muslims from the region of regional Mufti’s Office – Sofia participated with 30 001, 50 lv. There was also analyzed the subscription campaign for “Muslims” magazine for 2018, where from 85 year-round subscriptions during 2017, they became 135 in 2018, i.e. they are 50 more.

The Regional Mufti Mr. Mustafa Izbishtali expressed heartfelt gratitude to the imams, and trough them to the entire Muslim community for their activeness and compassion in the religious affairs.

Mr. Hatip paid a special attention to the importance of the constant reading and the personal development in order to be in a greater favor of the society and also to respond to the contemporary challenges. He also informed the participant about the latest news and developments in the publishing department at Grand mufti’s Office.

The participants discussed also some upcoming events, such as a one-day workshop on February 24, 2018, the year-round Qur’an courses and the weekly sermons in the settlements.

The meeting ended with a dua (supplication) for blessing and success in the work.
