Orphans’ Week 2017 in Shumen region

Within Orphans’ Week 2017, a campaign which was held in the period from November 23 to December 3 this year, in Shumen were delivered lectures in the central mosques on the topic “Orphans and the care towards them”. Along with this were delivered lectures for women in the city of Shumen and in the villlages of Timarevo, Kapitan Petko, Drentshi and Kamenyak, led by Hyuliya Basrieva – vaiz (preacher) at Regional Mufti’s Office – Shumen.

During the week the Regional Mufti of the city of Shumen together ieth his team visited the orphans form the region. During the visit all children received packages with food donated by companies from Shumen.

Currently the supported on the territory of the region of Shumen orphans from “Orphans” Fund at Grand Mufti’s Office are eleven.
