UN with first humanitarian access to Myanmar since the beginning of the crisis

UN got permission for humanitarian access to the troubled region of Rakhine in Myanmar. This happened after the massive criticism towards the authorities in Myanmar and their attitude towards what is happening in the country,  the world agencies reported.

This is the first possibility for humanitarian aid on behalf of UN for the destitute Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar since the beginning of the conflicts and the bloodshed from the end of August, 2017.

The humanitarian aid for the Muslim minority in Myanmar is expected to arrive in the troubled area on 28th of September, 2017 (Thursday).

We recall that since the beginning of the recent wave of clashes between the Myanmar authorities and the Rohingya Muslims nearly half a million representatives of the minority group have left the country and sought asylum  in Bangladesh.
