Grand Mufti: Religion play and will continue to play an important role in society

“We live in very dynamic times due to which we all have to work actively and collectively. Religion plays and will continue to play an important role in the society and its socio cultural and political dimensions”, said the Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi during the closure of a workshop for vaizes (preachers) which took place in the Course for improving the skills of imams in the village of Ustina on 1st of December, this year. He was accompanied by the Regional Mufti of Plovdiv Ersin Ahmed. The event was organized by “Irshad” Department and has a regular character in terms of increasing and development of the skills of the vaizes.
According to the Grand Mufti similar training workshops would give an impetus to the professional development of the vaizes. An integral role in this process takes a concrete and a clear strategy for implementation of the commitments, which undoubtedly are not easy. “Religion is a matter which should reach the hearts of the people following it natural course, crowned with the love to Allah”, further said the Grand Mufti of the Republic.
