Children from Qur’an course in Krichim organized charity bazaar

The children from the Qur’an course in Krichim, under the guidance of their teacher Fatima Salyah, organized a charity bazaar. This is the first of this kind event in Krichim and the people showed a great interest.
The event was attended by about one hundred people where special guests were the Regional Mufti Ersin Ahmed, the regional vaiz (preacher) Ekrem Hodzhev and Aydan Yumerov – a lecturer in History of Islam at the High Islamic Institute, Sofia.
The twenty children who regularly attend the Qur’an course had prepared for this occasion homemade pastry as well as their own drawings. The children allocated 80 leva from the collected amount of money for donation for “Orphans” Fund. They also joined with their contribution in the launched by the Grand Mufti’s Office campaign “Orphans’ week”.
