Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali held a working meeting with imams

The first meeting with imams from Regional Mufti’s Office after the holy month of Ramadan  was held on 2^nd of August, 2017 form 10:00 o’clock in the Central mosque in the city.

The event was opened with recitation of Ashr-i Sherif by the newly appointed imam of the village of Gluhar Halil Aliev. Then there was a welcome speech on behalf of the Regional Mufti of Kardzhali Beyhan Mehmed who informed the participants about the agenda of the meeting.

 The meeting was attended by the two deputy muftis Erhan Redzheb and Nasuf Halil, as well as the expert from “Irshad” Department Sezer Sadulov. By the invitation of the host Beyhan Mehmed the meeting was also attended by representatives of the Religious school – Momchilgrad – the Director Ahmed Bozov and his deputy Nurettin Chakar.

During the working meeting were discussed the results from the held campaign for supporting the Islamic education where Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali showed a significant increase in the amount of the donations compared to the past years. For the achieved positive results the Regional Mufti thanked all who took to heart this important for the Denomination campaign.

The agenda of the meeting included also topics related to carrying out the summer Qur’an courses, the organization of the regional and the national competition in Basic Knowledge in Islam. It is expected this year exactly Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali to host the national competition.

The Regional Mufti informed the imams about the peculiarities in holding this year’s campaign of Grand Mufti’s Office “Share your qurban”. One of them is the preliminary preparation of lists with needy families in the settlements.

The Deputy Mufti Erhan Redzheb provided information about the campaign Hajj 2017 both on a local and on national level.

Within the meeting was payed attention to the Contest of Grand Mufti’s Office for essay and drawing which will be held with children of different age groups, related to the Week of mosques. The Regional Mufti shared with the imams the decision of the Supreme Muslim Council regarding the regulations for awarding the annual award “Hodzhazade Mehmed Muhiydin effendi” for contribution in the development of the Muslim Denomination in the Republic of Bulgaria.

 The guests from the Religious School in Momchilgrad also took part in the discussions. The Director Ahmed Bozov took the opportunity to provide information to all participants about the campaign for recruitment of students and called upon the imams personally to undertake the task for promotion and the recruitment of candidates for the religious school. The head of the educational institution highlighted that the school has an enviable material base and staff.

The working meeting ended with a dua (supplication) for health, welfare and peace, made by the imam of the mosque in Kardzhali Erdinch Hayrula.
