Regional Mufti’s Office – Aytos marked Kutlu Dogul with a festive program

Regional Mufti’s Office – Aytos held an official program on the occasion of the week dedicated to the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) – Kutlu Dogum on 26^th of April, 2017 in the mosque Sultan Beyazid Veli in the town of Aytos. Official guests of the event were the Deputy Grand Mufti Ahmed Hasanov, the Acting Mufti of the municipalities of Dzhebel and Ardino, Kardzhali region, Erhan Redzhev, and the expert at “Irshad” Department at Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali Sezer Sadulev, who participated as guest-lecturers, as well as the Regional Mufti of Sliven Akif Akifov, the consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Burgas Niyazi Akyol and students from SRS “Nyuvvab” – Shumen.

At the beginning of the program the Regional Mufti of Aytos Selyahattin Muharem, as a host of the event welcomed all participants – about 400 men and women, and made an introduction t the topic of the week, which is carried out throughout the entire country under the title: “Seek knowledge from the cradle to the grave”. Welcoming speech was delivered also by the Consul General Niyazi Akyol. The three lectures focused on the importance of seeking and acquiring knowledge by every Muslim man and woman, for both religion and secular sciences and the benefits for the society of having educated people in every sphere of the social life.

Between the lectures was read mawlid and the students from SRS “Nyuvvab” – Shumen varied the celebration with performance of ilyahi and recitation of poems.

The two-hour program ended with a dua (supplication) made by the Deputy Grand Mufti Ahmed Hasanov.
