Regional Mufti’s Office – Veliko Tarnovo held its April meeting with imams

Regional Mufti’s Office – Veliko Tarnovo held a regular monthly meeting with the imams from the region on 12^th of April (Wednesday). It took place from 10:00 o’clock in the premises of the Mufti’s Office.

Within the working meeting the participants discussed issues related to the celebrations this year of the Week of the sacred birth – Kutlu Dogum 2017. There was made a decision the celebration for the region of Veliko Tarnovo to be held on 29^th of April (Saturday) from 10:00 o’clock in the library club “Nadezhda” in the city.

The imams discussed also the conduction of the summer Qur’an courses for children in the region of Veliko Tarnovo this year.

Official guest of the regular April meeting of the imams from Regional Mufti’s Office – Veliko Tarnovo was Enver Yahov – Regional Mufti of Targovishte. He welcomed his colleagues and shared useful experience in his work and the functioning of Regional Mufti’s Office – Targovishte, where his attendance contributed for the done exchange of expertise between the two regional mufti’s offices.

At the end of the held meeting the participants raised donations for the repair of a waqf estate in the town of Bankya, Sofia region.
