Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali sent the donations collected for Hitrino

Within the period December, 2016 – January, 2017 Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali joined the campaign of Grand Mufti’s Office for support of the victims and the relatives of those who lost their lives during the trainset accident in the village of Hitrino.

Thanks to the compassion of the residents of many settlements in the region of Kardzhali Regional Mufti’s Office managed to collect a significant amount of long-life food products of a first need – rice, sugar, beans, lentils, pasta, oil, onion, flour and others. Some of the benefactors provided also clothes.

The collected food and other aid left to the needy in Hitrino on Tuesday, 7th of January, 2017. They will be transported to the final destination thanks to the responsiveness of a local association from Kardzhali. It undertook the transport of the collected products on its own account to the village of Hitrino.

Among the people who were willing to help there were some who preferred to donate money. The collected money will be submitted to the fund of Grand Mufti’s Office and will be used by their intended purpose.
