Grand Mufti was on a working visit in Regional Mufti’s Office – Smolyan

The Grand Mufti of the Republic of Bulgaria Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi was on a two-day working visit in Smolyan region at the invitation of the Regional Mufti of Smolyan Nedzhmi Dabov. It took place on 27th and 28th of January. The Grand Mufti visited the mufti’s office in Smolyan where the Regional Mufti of the region reported on the current projects of the territory of the mufti’s office and presented ideas for the development of the region in educational and social aspect. The Grand Mufti visited also the guesthouse in the town of Smolyan which is foreseen to be completed in nearest time.  

The religious leader of the Muslim community in the Republic of Bulgaria visited also the village of Chepintsi where he delivered the Friday sermon and performed the Friday prayer, and in the central mosque of the town of Rudozem he delivered a lecture which was attended by hundreds of Muslims from the municipality of Rudozem and the neighboring municipalities of Madan and Smolyan. The high-ranking guest also held personal meetings with dozens of Muslims from the region of Smolyan. The Regional Mufti thanked the Grand Mufti for the honor and support and expressed conviction that such kind of meetings inspire self-esteem and confidence in the Muslim community.
