Islamophobic slogans during a protest of nationalists
On 21st of October the nationalists in Sofia, Varna, Yambol and other cities in the country protested against the refugees and the insufficient measures on behalf of the country to deal with the illegal migration. During the protest in Sofia, organized by “National Resistance” the nationalists were chanting against the Turks and the Muslims “Death for the Turks” and other offensive Islamophobic and racist qualifications, as well as slogans such as “Our ancestors fulfilled their duty! Now it is out turn!” with images describing a battle between Turks and Bulgarians in the past.
