Representatives of Grand Mufti’s Office attended a meeting with imams in the city of Kardzhali

A meeting ofimams with the participation of the newly appointed Deputy Grand Mufti Ahmed Hasanov and Mr. Halil Hodzhov – Head of “Irshad” Department was held in the mosque in the city of Kardzhali on 13^th of October, 2016. The meeting was chaired by the Regional Mufti Beyhan Mehmed. It was opened with a welcoming speech on behalf of the regional Mufti who informed the participants about the agenda and highlighted the main purpose of the event, namely to have a direct meeting, to get to know the newly appointed Deputy Grand Mufti dr. Ahmed Hasanov, who before the meeting with the imams in Kardzhali had the opportunity to meet also with imams from the Muslim representation of the town of Krumovgrad. In his words to the imams Mr. Hasanov shared with them the main objectives, tasks and priorities that he has set in his future activities as a Deputy Grand Mufti and expressed hope for more frequent meetings with the clergymen in the relevant regions. During the meeting the Regional Mufti reported to the imams about the past campaigns (WIE and Qurban campaign, Week of Mosques) and urged his employees for higher activity with regard to the subscription campaign for the Muslims magazine. The meeting ended with a dua (supplication) for health and prosperity.
