Cultural – enlightenment program in Stolipinovo quarter in Plovdiv

The quarter in Plovdiv Stolipinovo hosted a cultural – religious – enlightenment program organized by a team of Grand Mufti’s Office – Sofia. The program was performed headed by the Deputy Grand Mufti Birali Birali, the lecturers from the High Islamic Institute Mr. Aydan Yumer and Mr. Ahmed Hasan. At the central square of the quarter of Stolipinovo was constructed a décor in the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan. For a first time the citizens from the quarter had the opportunity to participate live with asking questions, and also to express their opinions and impressions about the month of Ramadan. The Regional Mufti Mr. Taner Veli greeted the residents of the quarter and wished them to meet with health and success Eid ul-Fitr. After the program iftar was given for about 400 people. Special guests were Mr. Metin Akbaş – social affairs attaché at the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in the city of Plovdiv and the Vice Consul Mr. Murad Muhaciroglu.
