Mayor of Istanbul’s district gave an iftar in Blagoevgrad region

The Istanbul`s district Sultangazi and Balkanlar'a Vefa Derneği were hosts of an iftar dinner in the village of Breznitsa. The Ramadan dinner was attended by the Ambassador of the republic of Turkey in Bulgaria Süleyman Gökçe.

The iftar turned into a kind of a celebration with a festive program in which actively participation took the Qur’an course of the village. Within the two-hour program at the square of the village the children showed the local people and the guests that the Islamic traditions will not disappear and that the young people will continue the path of their parents.

The Regional Mufti thanked the guests from Istanbul and in his dua he wished that the good deeds which are done by Turkey to become a bridge of mutual assistance and strengthening the brotherly international relations.

The local Muslims thanked the guests cordially and presented them small gifts, representing the life and the culture of the colorful, populated by Muslims Blagoevgrad region.
