Tashih-i huruf course in Shumen was completed
On 19th of May, 2016 in the city of Shumen was organized a celebration on the occasion of the completion of the course Tashih-i huruf, which started in the beginning of this year. Guests of the program were the Grand Mufti of the Republic of Bulgaria Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi, Metin Akbaş – social affairs attaché at the Consulate of the Republic of Turkey in the city of Plovdiv, the regional muftis of Razgrad, Plovdiv and Silistra – Mehmed Alya, Taner Veli and Myuddessir Mehmet. The program began with a welcoming speech from Mr. Mesut Mehmedov – Regional Mufti of the city of Shumen, continued with expressive recitation of the Qur’an by the participants in the course, and ended with a speech and a dua (supplication), made by the Grand Mufti. The participants in the course in their turn thanked Grand Mufti’s Office for the organized course and expressed opinion that almost all imams have to attend such a course.
