Regional Mufti of Kardzhali took part in annual traditional mawlid in the mosque Yedikazlar

Nearly 300 people from the neighboring villages and guests from Greece joined the annual common for the villages mawlid which took place in the famous mosque “Yedikazlar” in the village of Podkova.

The event was organized by the local Muslim Board of Trustees. Guests were the Deputy Mufti of Krumovgrad Mr. Nasuf Halil, the person in charge of “Irshad” at RMO – Kardzhali Mr. Sezer Sadulov and the vaiz (preacher) at RMO – Kardzhali Enver Halil. The Regional Mufti Beyhan Mehmed used the opportunity to deliver a lecture to the attendees related to the three sacred months. At the end of the program all were given traditional pilaf with meat. The program mended with a dua (supplication) for health and prosperity.
