Festive celebration of Kutlu Dogum in Pazardzhik

A festive program on the occasion of the Birth of the Prophet (pbuh) under the title “The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and ethics in co-existence” was held on 24^th of April, 2016 in the hall of Velingrad Municipality. Guests of the event were the Regional Mufti of Pazardzhik region Mr. Abdullah Salih, the Deputy Regional Mufti of Blagoevgrad region Mr. Ali Hodzha, Halil Hodzhov – Head of “Irshad” Department, Dr. Sefer Hasanov – a lecturer at HII – Sofia and Musa Durlu – a vaiz (preacher) at Grand Mufti’s Office. The event was also attended by the Director and the Deputy Director of SRS – Momchilgrad. The celebration began with recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an by the imam of the town of Rakitovo and a member of the SMC Shaban Karkelov. The program continued with welcoming speeches delivered by the Regional Mufti Mr. Abdullah Salih and the Deputy Regional Mufti of Blagoevgrad region Mr. Ali Hodzha. After that the floor was given to the guests Halil Hodzhov and Ahmed Bozov. The program included two lectures delivered by Azis Mehmed, imam of the central mosque in Velingrad, and Dr. Sefer Hasanov, a lecturer at HII. The events ended with a dua (supplication) made by the Regional Mufti Mr. Abdullah Salih. May Allah be pleased with all who helped for the organization of this good work.
