Dear Muslim brothers and sisters

The beginning of the new year is a new chance, which is a small part of the Mercy of the Exalted Allah. We are given this chance in order to come back on our feet, to strike a balance and see what we have achieved and what we have missed and can we or rather do we want to make up for what we have missed. This chance is a good start for everyone who has a heart with which to feel the meaning of his existence and the direction of his life. This chance is an opportunity for which many people who lived before us were yearning, but alas, they cannot benefit from it. However we can take the advantage of this opportunity, it is given to us, but it is necessary to take a sober view of the things and to estimate it properly. Is it really so difficult to look around yourself and see what is good for you? Of course it is not difficult if so many people do it, but why everyone does not do it, why there are such who follow the temptations and not the mind and the call of Allah, Who says: “And Allah invites to the Home of Peace and guides whom He wills to a straight path”? Mind is also a gift from the Exalted Allah, who is given only to the people, but not everyone uses it in the right way. Moreover, some people use opiates such as alcohol or drugs in order to paralyze their mental abilities???
That is why the new year is a new beginning. Of course we cannot forget the past and especially when it is connected with not so good deeds. But there is a great opportunity, which is said in the verse: “indeed good deeds remove the evils…” (Hud: 114). The good deeds done during the new 1436 year will be a ransom for the mistakes done so far. That is why it is worth to compete in the performance of good deeds from which to benefit in this and in the other world.
May Allah accept the good deeds of all the Muslims, to protect them and to guide them, and also to guide all who are astray, to help all who are helpless, to support everyone who turns to Him! Ameen!
