For another year the Prophet Muhammad is remembered by mawlid in Medina

Grand Mufti’s Office organized mawlid for the pilgrims in Medina. The mawlid took place on 20th of October in the hotel where the Bulgarian pilgrims have stayed. There was a great interest on behalf of the pilgrims to the mawlid held at some 100 footsteps away from Masjid al- Nabawi. They became very emotional especially when reading the parts describing the birth and the farewell of Muhammad (pbuh) with his relatives before his death. During the mawlid there was recitation of parts of the Qur’an, salawat, takbir, ilyahi and poems for the life of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) and Medina from the leaders Sami Syuleyman, Hyusein Ahmed, Halil Salih and Fahri Resim, imam of the village of Klikach, Burgas region. At the end of the mawlid the Deputy Grand Mufti Vedat S. Ahmed made dua (supplication).
After the mawlid the organizers did not forget to treat the pilgrims with dates and also some of the pilgrims gave a treat.
