Residents of the capital joined “Orphans’ week” by charity bazaar

In the framework of “Orphans’ week” which is held for third consecutive year at the end of November, Regional Mufti’s Office – Sofia in cooperation with the students from High Islamic Institute – Sofia organized a charity bazaar. The bazaar took place in front of the mosque “Kadi Seyfullah Efendi” (Banya Bashi) which gave the opportunity for all the people who were passing by to join this good deed. Despite of the rainy and cold weather the motto of this years’ campaign “Give compassion, not mercy” made hundreds of people to take an active part in the event. Through selling different products – prayer beads, clothes, accessories, paintings, food and others, were collected 805 leva for “Orphans” Fund at Grand Mufti’s Office.
