Regional Mufti of Montana attended the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected mayor of Vidin

37 municipal councilors, 22 mayors of town councils and the Mayor of Municipality of Vidin Ognyan Tsenkov took a solemn oath today in Vidin. This happened within the first held session of the new municipal council.
The Regional Governor Momchil Stankov greeted the newly elected councilors and the eldest of them Tsenko Ivanov chaired the first session. With a secret ballot was elected for a Chairman of the Municipal Council – Vidin Genadi Velkov (pictured), nominated by coalition “Nadezhda” (RB, BDC, People’s union). The new municipal council of Vidin will include representatives of 6 political parties and 2 coalitions. The former Mayor of Vidin Gergo Gergov gave the necklace and the seal of Vidin to Ognyan Tsenkov and brought him into the mayor’s office.
The event was attended also by Nedzhati Ali, Regional Mufti of Montana.
