Trainees from Qur’an course in Lazhnitsa will present Blagoevgrad Mufti’s Office in the National competition in basic knowledge in Islam

The Summer Qur’an courses in the whole country end with splendid programs and participation in the relevant regional competition in Basic knowledge in Islam. The regional competition, organized by Regional Mufti’s Office – Blagoevgrad for the whole Qur’an courses from the region, was held in Lazhnitsa. The mosque in the village in Blagoevgrad region hardly gathered all trainees from the Qur’an courses, who arrived for the competition.
Official guests of the event were the two guest imams from the Republic of Turkey – respectively at the regional mufti’s offices of Blagoevgrad and Smolyan, the Regional Mufti of Blagoevgrad Aydan Mohamed, the Deputy Regional Mufti Ali Hodzha, imams and teachers in the Qur’an courses.
The event was also attended by many other guests, who came to see what have learnt the small participants in the Qur’an courses during the summer holiday.
At first place in the race for knowledge was ranked the team of the hosts from the village of Lazhnitsa.
The Mufti of Blagoevgrad Aydan Mohamed thanked all teachers from the course as well as the students for their efforts and gave awards to all who took part.
In the framework of the Qur’an courses which took place during the summer of the present year 2015 in Blagoevgrad region participated nearly 1200 children.
Regional Mufti’s Office – Blagoevgrad thanks all participants for their work, the parents – for their support, and the teachers – for their devotion in this hard mission – to “guide the young generation to the values of Islam”.
