Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali held regional competition in Basic knowledge in Islam

Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali held a regional competition in basic knowledge in Islam on 26th of August, 2015 in SRS – Momchilgrad. The Director of SRS Mr. Ahmet Bozov thanked the Regional Mufti’s Office for the efforts which they make for the popularization of the school. He informed the participants about the program of the school and invited them to enroll. The Regional Mufti Mr. Beyhan Mehmed welcomed all attending children, wished success to the participants and thanked their teachers for their efforts and their responsible role in the education of the young Muslims. 15 Qur’an courses took part in the competition. The ranking was as follows: at first place was the group from the city of Kardzhali, second were the students from the village of Vratnitsa and third – the group from Benkovski. The difficult task to choose the best team had a jury including Erhan Redzheb – Deputy Mufti of Kardzhali, the Deputy Director of SRS – Momchilgrad Mr. Halyuk Yaldaz and Mr. Redzhai Yaldaz – imam of the city of Kardzhali. The second part of the competition in reading the Qur’an was also attended by the Mayor of Momchilgrad Municipality Mr. Akif Akif. Those who were ranked at first, second and third place received tablets and all competitors received Muslims magazine, mawlid, headscarf or beret, beads and CDs. Among those who received tablets stood out the 12- years old Suat with memorization of sura Ya Sin and the 8-years old Enes Bozov with Ayat al-Kursi, Amenerrasulu, Huwallahullezi and suras in the prayer. Plaques of gratitude were presented to Abdullah Özlü and Muammer Yılmaz, representatives of Diyanet Directorate for their activity during the month of Ramadan.
