Kutlu dogum in Haskovo

On 21st of April, 2015 Regional Mufti’s Office Haskovo organized an event on the occasion of Kutlu Dogum. The celebration was held under the title “Let’s live together in our differences”. The celebration began with recitation of the Qur’an-i Kerim and continued with a welcoming speech of the Regional Mufti Mr. Basri Eminefendi. The boys and the girls from the Qur’an course at Regional Mufti’s Office Haskovo performed ilyahi and poems related to the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). The event was attended by guests from the Republic of Turkey and from the country who also participated as speakers in the program Mr. Murat Pingov – Deputy Grand Mufti, Dr. Hyusein Kayapanar – Chairperson of the Supreme Council on Religious Affairs, Dr. Ulvi Ata – social affairs attaché at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Emrullah Üzüm – Mufti of the city of Edirne, Prof. M. Fatih Kesler. The event was also attended by the MPs Mrs. Saliha Emin and Mr. Shabanali Ahmed. Among the participants were also Mr. Metin Akbaş – religious affairs attaché at the Consulate of the Republic of Turkey in the city of Plovdiv, the regional Muftis of Kardzhali Mr. Beyhan Ahmed, of Plovdiv Mr. Ersin Ahmed, of Krumovgrad Mr. Nasuh Halil, municipal mayors and prominent guests from the region.
