Regional Mufti’s Office – Razgrad held a working meeting with imams

On 9th of April, 2015 Regional Mufti’s Office – Razgrad held a meeting with the imams from the entire region, which was attended by the Grand Mufti of the Republic of Bulgaria Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi, the Regional Mufti of Targovishte Mr. Enver Yahov and the Regional Mufti of Ruse Mr. Aziz Azizov, as well as by the guest imam from the Republic of Turkey Mr. Muzeyr Çulluk. The meeting took place in the “Ahmed Bey” mosque of the regional city. It began with recitation of verses from the Qur’an-i Kerim by Mr. Sezay Ismail, imam of the village of Delchevo. After that the imams of the town of Tsar Kaloyan Redzheb Kertik and the imam of the village of Brestovene Mr. Aykut Mahmudov delivered brief lectures “One verse one hadith”. The Regional Mufti of Razgrad Ahmed Alya welcomed the guests and the imams and informed them about the main topics: organization and carrying out of Kutlu Dogum, Hajj 2015, organization of full-year-round and summer Qur’an courses, recruiting students for the religious schools and other current issues. The Grand Mufti focused in his speech to the imams on the vision for development of the Muslim community, the analysis of the current issues, related to the Muslim community and the status of the community in the recent years. As a priority point in the vision for the future development of the Muslim community is the role of the imams and he urged them to get closer to the people and especially to the young generation so that to be educated in the Islamic values. At the end of the meeting the Regional Mufti thanked all imams for their diligence and efforts in their daily work.
The meeting ended with a dua (supplication) made by the Grand Mufti.
