Regional Mufti’s Office – Sliven hosted a Regional Competition in Basic Knowledge in Islam on August 31, 2020 (Monday) in the mosque of Sliven. Ten children participated in it.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Supreme Muslim Council – Mr. Vedat Ahmed, and the Regional Mufti of Sliven – Mr. Akif Akifov.

At first place ranked a student from the summer Qur’an course in the town of Nova Zagora. The three best participants received cash prizes, and the others received incentive gifts from Mr. Vedat Ahmed and Mr. Akif Akifov.
