The traditional competition in basic knowledge in Islam was held on August 31, 2020 (Monday) in “Charshi mosque” in Haskovo. Children from 31 settlements competed in three categories in the competition – questionnaire, recitation by heart and practice. The competition was held before the noon prayer and was strictly monitored by a team of Regional Mufti’s Office – Haskovo.

The anti-epidemic measures were respected during the competition due to the situation in which we are.

The event was attended by the Deputy Grand Mufti Mr. Ahmed Hasanov and the Regional Mufti of Haskovo – Mr. Basri Eminefensi.

At the end of the competition the three-member jury announced the three winners and presented gifts – money and books, to them and the other participants.
