The Department of Education at Grand Mufti’s Office held three working meetings within the period of August 5 – 11 at the premises of RS “Nyuvvab” – Shumen, where a number of issues, problems and challenges, related to the educational process were discussed.
On August 5, 2020 (Wednesday) was held the first meeting in which participated teachers and educators in religious disciplines from the religious schools in Ruse and Shumen. During the meeting was discussed the preparation for the new school year 2020/21 and the challenges related to the recruitment, adaptation and training of the newly enrolled students. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Grand Mufti Mr. Ahmed Hasanov, Mr. Ahmed Genç – Religious affairs attaché at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Amir Feleti – Head of the Department of Education, Mrs. Nazmie Kulova – expert at the Department of Education, Mr. Sherif Hyusnyu – Director of RS “Nyuvvab” and Mr. Tundzhay Sherif – Director of the Religious School in Ruse.
From August 6 to 7, 2020 (Thursday and Friday) was held a second working meeting where the Committee for the preparation of the new textbooks on “Religion – Islam” to eight grade met. The elaboration of new textbooks is planned to be done by the end of the year and the Committee has been working hard in order to prepare the new teaching materials in the required term. The first five textbooks were already submitted an approved by MES.
From August 10 to 11, 2020 (Monday and Tuesday) was held the third working meeting where the teachers from RS “Nyuvvab” and the RS in Ruse attended a certified Microsoft Teams, Power Point and Zoom training in order to improve and increase the quality of distance learning.
