CHARITY CAMPAIGN
Social campaign to support orphaned children – “Orphans’ week”, which become a tradition in “Social” Department at Grand Mufti’s Office. Thanks to your support and assistance the campaign manages to support the orphans. The support for children deprived from a family and parental care is a duty of every Muslim and of the Muslim community. The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "I and the guardian of the orphan will be in the Paradise like that," indicating his forefinger and middle finger. (hadith from Sahih al-Bukhari)
The number of the orphans in Bulgaria that stay in social institutions exceeds 4 755. Every child after being born has the right of existence, family love, education and health care. This is a big test for all. That is why let us not abandon the orphans! The Almighty Allah commanded the following:
“And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive…” (76:8)
As an expression of solidarity and goodness we would like to invite you to join helping orphaned children in the charity campaign “HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT ABOUT AN ORPHAN?”
Each of the supported children receives 50 leva every month.
You can make your donations in “Orphans” Fund at Grand Mufti’s Office, in the cash-boxes in the regional mufti’s offices and into the bank account of Grand Mufti’s Office BG72STSA93000007374577 by indicating the aim of the donation.
The collected amount of money is used only to the benefit of the orphaned children.
