Regional Mufti’s Office – Stara Zagora held a meeting with imams and chairmen of Muslim boards of trustees from Stara Zagora region

 

A working meeting with the imams and the chairmen of the Muslim boards of trustees from Stara Zagora region was held on 14th of May, 2017 from 14:00 o’clock in the village of Kanchevo, Municipality of Kazanlak. The Regional Mufti of Stara Zagora Mr. Turhan Hasan welcomed everyone and thanked the Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi for being a guest at the meeting for a fourth consecutive year. The meeting was attended also by the Mayor of the village of Kanchevo Mr. Petar Petkov.

The Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi greeted all participants in the meeting and held a speech on the Islamic development in the region and on the young generation.

The Regional Mufti’s Office - Stara Zagora was established in the beginning of 2012 and has twenty-five boards of trustees, twenty-two mosques and four masjids so far. Five-time prayer is performed I seven mosques, in thirteen mosques is performed the Friday prayer, and in the remaining is performed only the Eid prayer.
