Regional Mufti’s Office – Ruse held a working meeting with the active women from Ruse district on November 7, 2018.

The meeting began with reading of verses from the Holy Qur’an by Ibazer Ibazerov, imam of the “Hadzhi Mehmed” mosque in Ruse. The floor was given to the Regional Mufti of Ruse Yudzhel Hyusnyu. He expressed his gratitude to the attending women for responding to his invitation to participate in the autumn meeting. The Regional Mufti explained in his speech the activities of the Muslim Denomination in the Republic of Bulgaria and focused on the status of the woman in Islam and in the society. During his speech Hyusnyu expressed gratitude to the participants for their activity for the benefit of Islam in the settlements where they work. He presented to the attendees vaiz (preacher) Bayrie Ahmed who was recently appointed as an employee at Regional Mufti’s Office - Ruse.

The meeting continued with a brief lecture from Abdullah Dursun, guest-imam from the Republic of Turkey. “Let`s remain attached to the Denomination and to the relevant regional mufti’s office. I call upon you to be united. Regional Mufti’s Office – Ruse is the right place which you have to address to and which always responds when help and advices are needed, explaining how to be good Muslims. The Muslim Denomination and Regional Mufti’s Office - Ruse have always been ready to help the Muslims in the relevant region” – said the imam Abdullah Dursun in his address to the active Muslim women from Ruse district

Within the working meeting the newly appointed vaiz at the mufti’s office in Ruse Bayrie Ahmed had the opportunity to present the work which she is going to perform on the territory of Regional Mufti’s Office - Ruse, and it became known that her main focus will be to organize and implements religious talks, lectures and year-round Qur’an courses.

At the end of the meeting the participants expressed their gratitude to its organizers. In its turn Regional Mufti’s Office – Ruse also thanked the women for their presence and participation. Each of the participants in the meeting received a small gift from the Regional Mufti of Ruse Yudzhel Hyusnyu.
