Regional Governor of Kardzhali attended an iftar in the central mosque in the city of Kardzhali

The Regional Governor of Kardzhali Mr. Nikola Chanev visited Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali at the invitation of the Regional Mufti Beyhan Mehmed. He took part in the festive iftar dinner which was held in the yard of the central mosque of the city of Kardzhali on 20^th of June after the evening prayer. The meeting with the highly-honorable guest was also attended by the Deputy Mufti of Ardino Mr. Erhan Redzheb.

During the iftar the newly elected Regional Governor had the opportunity to greet all participants with the coming feast of Ramadan Bayram and wished them health and prosperity for their families. In the Regional Mufti’s Office the Regional Mufti Beyhan Mehmed informed the Regional Governor about the activities of the Mufti’s Office, the religious life of the Muslims during the holy month of Ramadan as well as with the current campaigns of Grand Mufti’s Office which are held on a regional level.

The Regional Mufti gave the Regional Governor as a gift reminder of the meeting translation of the Holy Qur’an as well as a miniature model of the famous mosque of “The seven girls” in the village of Podkova.
