Dear Muslim brothers and sisters,

Dear compatriots,

We are taking a leave the month during which a feeling of happiness and responsibility was with us. We are happy to have fulfilled our duties as Muslims and made efforts to be empathetic with the social problems of people and especially with the problems of the needy. During the month of Ramadan once again we experience the wisdom of the hadith in which Muhammad (pbuh) says: “If my Ummah knew what Ramadan was, they would have wished it lasted for the whole year." Muslims do not want to part with this sacred month but this is inevitable. But they charged with a positive energy which will keep their spirit strong till the next year when they again will have the possibility to meet the Month of Ramadan and its beauties.

Dear Muslims, we are in the eve of Ramadan Bayram. On the day of Bayram nobody asks anybody - whether he is a Muslim or not, how religious is he and what ibadah (worshipping) did during the month of Ramadan. Everybody has one purpose – to be as much closer as possible to people and to help them with what he can. One of the good deeds which we can do during these days is to greet people with smiling faces. Greeting each other on the day of Bayram and the smile predisposes to friendship and unity, inspires confidence and remove doubts. Let us celebrate the feast with obedience to Allah and wit love towards people. This does not require a lot, it is only necessary to be ourselves and not to forget that the Almighty Allah is Generous to all and e is able to make all of us happy. Let we also make our families happy and especially our parents if they are still alive, and if they had left this world, to pray for them.

Bayram is a day for celebration and for taking a stock of what we have achieved in Ramadan and what we missed. While during Ramadan fasting is obligatory, on the day of Bayram it is forbidden in order to taste the blessing which Allah gave us. Let us enjoy the blessing of Allah and thank Him for everything that e granted us.

We ask Him on this day to protect and guide us, and to protect the entire Bulgarian nation. Happy Ramadan Bayram!
